2019

Cameron Rowe

"To receive the Joseph P. Veasey Award scholarship was probably one of the best highlights of my life. The scholarship was designed to be given to a student who has demonstrated exceptional service to fellow peers and teachers while also promoting a positive sense of community among the second year class, contributing positively to the studio environment and displaying a collaborative and helpful manner. To be nominated by my classmates for such an award is something I would have never expected. I believe these qualities of helpfulness and positivity are traits that come natural to me and wouldn’t have been something I thought would have been noticed or rewarded. In receiving the award, I am able to continue my education knowing my positive contribution to Miami University’s architecture environment. I will continue to promote a sense of community as I ascend into the third year studio in Joe’s memory. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity."
